Mais cette transition vers le v\u00e9hicule 100 % propre doit se faire en am\u00e9liorant l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 et l&rsquo;\u00e9cologie des v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 combustion actuels, qui ont encore de nombreuses ann\u00e9es de vie sur le march\u00e9. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-974b8d9 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"974b8d9\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-75a0dc1\" data-id=\"75a0dc1\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-54c5420 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"54c5420\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Bien qu&rsquo;il puisse sembler paradoxal de parler d&rsquo;\u00e9cologie en \u00e9voquant des v\u00e9hicules polluants, on peut affirmer que les avanc\u00e9es technologiques de ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es contribuent \u00e0 une r\u00e9duction drastique des \u00e9missions de gaz nocifs dans l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re, responsables de l&rsquo;effet de serre.<\/p><p>Selon une \u00e9tude r\u00e9cente de l&rsquo;AMB (Aire M\u00e9tropolitaine de Barcelone), une voiture d&rsquo;il y a 20 ans pollue autant que 36 voitures modernes en ce qui concerne les PM (<em>Particulate Matter<\/em>) et 5 voitures modernes en ce qui concerne les NO<sub>x<\/sub> (oxydes d&rsquo;azote). Si l&rsquo;on examine les statistiques relatives aux motos, le rapport est de 1:17. <\/p><p>C&rsquo;est pourquoi les autorit\u00e9s europ\u00e9ennes qui r\u00e9glementent les \u00e9missions de polluants ont mis en place des politiques de plus en plus restrictives. Des ann\u00e9es 1990 \u00e0 aujourd&rsquo;hui, les normes de l&rsquo;UE sont devenues de plus en plus strictes et, avec l&rsquo;entr\u00e9e en vigueur des normes successives Euro 2, Euro 3 et maintenant Euro 6c, certains constructeurs ont rencontr\u00e9 des probl\u00e8mes et \u00e9chou\u00e9 aux tests. De la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re que notre cerveau prend la d\u00e9cision de d\u00e9placer notre main si nous remarquons qu&rsquo;elle br\u00fble, toute d\u00e9cision prise par l&rsquo;ECU d\u00e9pend directement de ce que les capteurs r\u00e9partis dans le v\u00e9hicule lui disent de faire. L&rsquo;un de ces capteurs, situ\u00e9 dans le pot d&rsquo;\u00e9chappement, est charg\u00e9 de r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de gaz nocifs dans l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re.   <em>Sondes Lambda<\/em>), d\u00e9tecte en permanence la valeur de l&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne r\u00e9siduel de la combustion dans les gaz d&rsquo;\u00e9chappement, de sorte que le calculateur ajuste le m\u00e9lange d&rsquo;injection \u00e0 la valeur optimale.<br><\/p>\n<p>Tous les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9quip\u00e9s d&rsquo;un convertisseur catalytique sont dot\u00e9s d&rsquo;au moins une sonde lambda (de r\u00e9gulation), situ\u00e9e en amont du convertisseur catalytique. Toutefois, les v\u00e9hicules OBD (<em>On-Board Diagnostic<\/em>) sont \u00e9quip\u00e9s d&rsquo;une seconde sonde lambda (de diagnostic) situ\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re du catalyseur, qui signale le bon fonctionnement de la sonde lambda de r\u00e9gulation et corrige tout \u00e9cart. Elles surveillent \u00e9galement le cycle de vie du convertisseur catalytique et signalent lorsque celui-ci est \u00e9puis\u00e9 et doit \u00eatre remplac\u00e9.  <\/p>\n<p>Pourquoi l&rsquo;appelle-t-on sonde lambda ? Le facteur lambda (\u019b) est le rapport air-carburant compar\u00e9 au rapport st\u0153chiom\u00e9trique id\u00e9al, qui est de 14,7 parties d&rsquo;air pour 1 partie de carburant (en poids). Si cette comparaison donne un facteur lambda sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 1, le m\u00e9lange de carburant est pauvre. Contrairement aux sondes lambda bas\u00e9es sur le dioxyde de zirconium, celles-ci ne g\u00e9n\u00e8rent aucune tension et le mat\u00e9riau de la sonde est immerg\u00e9 dans les gaz d&rsquo;\u00e9chappement, sans n\u00e9cessiter d&rsquo;air ext\u00e9rieur. <\/p><p>Ces capteurs comportent toujours un \u00e9l\u00e9ment chauffant et, \u00e0 haute temp\u00e9rature, la r\u00e9sistance de ce mat\u00e9riau est sensible \u00e0 la variation de la concentration d&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne dans les gaz d&rsquo;\u00e9chappement. Pour un m\u00e9lange riche, la r\u00e9sistance chute \u00e0 des valeurs minimales et pour un m\u00e9lange pauvre, elle augmente jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 des valeurs maximales. C&rsquo;est pourquoi elles mesurent la composition des gaz d&rsquo;\u00e9chappement avec une grande pr\u00e9cision, ce qui les rend adapt\u00e9es aussi bien aux moteurs diesel qu&rsquo;aux moteurs \u00e0 essence. <\/p><p>Elles contiennent deux cellules \u00e9lectrochimiques fonctionnant simultan\u00e9ment. L&rsquo;une d&rsquo;entre elles mesure le caract\u00e8re riche ou pauvre du m\u00e9lange gazeux, \u00e0 l&rsquo;instar des sondes lambda binaires. L&rsquo;autre cellule \u00e9lectrochimique r\u00e9agit en fonction du signal \u00e9mis par la premi\u00e8re cellule et de la quantit\u00e9 d&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne dans les gaz de combustion. Le fonctionnement conjoint des deux cellules fournit un courant \u00e9lectrique positif pour les m\u00e9langes pauvres, n\u00e9gatif pour les m\u00e9langes riches et nul dans le cas d&rsquo;un m\u00e9lange parfait ou st\u0153chiom\u00e9trique.   <\/p><p>Le courant g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 par la sonde lambda \u00e0 large bande est calibr\u00e9 et doit \u00e9galement \u00eatre converti en tension pour pouvoir \u00eatre lu par l&rsquo;ECU du v\u00e9hicule. Pour ces raisons, la sonde incorpore une r\u00e9sistance d&rsquo;\u00e9talonnage dans le connecteur. Cette r\u00e9sistance est diff\u00e9rente pour chaque sonde lambda. Il ne faut donc en aucun cas remplacer une sonde lambda par une autre en coupant les fils.  <\/p><p><strong>Sonde lambda \u00e0 large bande de premi\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9ration :<\/strong><\/p><p>Elles contiennent un canal de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence d&rsquo;air externe similaire \u00e0 celui des sondes lambda binaires de Zirconia.<\/p><p><strong>Sonde lambda \u00e0 large bande de deuxi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration :<\/strong><\/p><p>Elles ne n\u00e9cessitent pas de canal de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence pour fonctionner. Cette cellule est r\u00e9gul\u00e9e par l&rsquo;\u00e9lectronique du v\u00e9hicule et r\u00e9agit simultan\u00e9ment en fonction de la quantit\u00e9 d&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne pr\u00e9sente dans les gaz d&rsquo;\u00e9chappement. Le fonctionnement global fournit un courant caract\u00e9ristique correspondant aux diff\u00e9rentes compositions de gaz dans le tuyau d&rsquo;\u00e9chappement. Le courant qu&rsquo;elle g\u00e9n\u00e8re est positif pour les m\u00e9langes pauvres, ce courant est capable de mesurer la composition des gaz avec une grande pr\u00e9cision et, \u00e0 son tour, est sensible aux m\u00e9langes riches et sans oxyg\u00e8ne. Pouvant g\u00e9n\u00e9rer un courant en sens inverse, ils conviennent aussi bien aux moteurs diesel qu&rsquo;aux moteurs \u00e0 essence.    <\/p><p class=\"p1\">Cette sonde est \u00e9quivalente \u00e0 une sonde Broadband \u00e0 5 fils en termes de r\u00e9ponse, car le signal qu&rsquo;elle d\u00e9livre est proportionnel \u00e0 la sonde lambda.
